Citrus-Lime offer two varieties of barcode labels; permanent and peelable adhesion.
This label is the peelable variety.
Peelable adhesives are made from Acrylic and are classed as peelable because their molecules continue to vibrate for approximately up to 6 months from application. After this time, when these molecules no longer vibrate, they can become permanent.
Peelable can be used on non-porous materials, providing the surface is completely smooth (not like a plastic milk bottle), they can also be used on paper. Cardboard is a subjective area, as there are so many different types and grades with varying levels of recycled content, most of which have at least 25% silicone, which can repel peelable adhesive.
Before purchasing the Peelable labels, please consider the surfaces to which you intend to apply the labels.
If it is necessary for the labels to be removed without leaving any trace on the product, we would recommend purchasing peelable labels. Alternatively, if you require labels to be firmly in place, or they are being applied to the outer packaging of a product, we would advise obtaining permanent labels.
STORAGE: Store in a dark, dry place, that has an even temperature. Exposure to excessive heat or sunlight can have an impact on the adhesiveness of both varieties of labels.
